Moonlight beauty(Chinese White Tea)

Moonlight Beauty (Yueguang Mei Ren), also known as Moonlight White, is a unique specialty tea native to Yunnan.
 
It uses fresh leaves of Yunnan large-leaf tea trees as raw material. Harvesting must be done from midnight until sunrise, with the standard being one bud with one leaf or one bud with two leaves. The picked fresh leaves are spread out on bamboo mats in a backlit room to air-dry in the dark, and the entire initial processing must be completed within one day.
 
Moonlight Beauty has a distinctive appearance: the upper surface of the leaves is black, while the lower surface is covered with prominent white down, presenting a black-and-white contrast. The tea buds, covered with bright white down, curve like crescent moons. Its aroma is rich, lingering and elegant—initially like honey, then evolving into a fresh fruity or delicate floral scent. The tea liquor is clear, yellowish-green and translucent, becoming more luminous with subsequent infusions. The taste is mellow and full, smooth and warm, leaving a lasting fragrance in the mouth and a long sweet aftertaste. It combines the fresh aroma of white tea with the mellow richness of Pu'er tea.
